Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

I'm back from Bakacon 2011 Finland!
I was one of the cosplay judges and I also held a panel 'bout prop making~

So, here it is, my newest cosplay.

Yo!

Summer is coming up here in Finland too. Today was almost +25 celcius and I'm making a new cosplay in my apartment...
Well, back in the cosplay business now. I managed to gather some money by driving taxi for a few weeks.
Now I'v got some cash to make a cosplay or two! Bakacon (www.bakacon.fi) will be held next weekend 14-15.5.2011!
And I just started a new cosplay two days ago. O_o
What is this, it's only Tuesday and my cosplay is almost finished?
Only some improvements and shadows are missing from my shirt, wig is unstyled and I have to sew one gray glove.
Really weird...

So, as I have been a bit busy this spring, it's finally time to concentrate in cosplay!
After this one I still have 3 more cosplays to do before August. You can just guess what they are! (That's what I'm also doing...)

Okay, as I have done almost all of the previous costumes of this character I also had to make this one!
Kurosaki Ichigo and Final Getsuga Tenshou.

Well, I managed to take a WIP photo. I'm not really used to take or publish any WIP photos, but here is an ugly one!

We also made copies of our heads out of plaster of Paris with Shufu!

I'll be one of the judges in the cosplay competition in Bakacon, and I'll also held a "How to make props easily" - lecture at Sunday.

Yeah Fangirls love the few existing male cosplayers. I'm kind of enjoying prop making though. Still have to try making that mugen for Kanda cosplay. -_-'
